Temporary Warehouse Operative
Location: Uxbridge
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Start Date: 29th September 2025
Hours: 8:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
Looking for hands-on warehouse experience in a supportive and friendly team? We’re working with a lovely local business in Uxbridge who are seeking a Temporary Warehouse Operative to join their team on a short-term assignment.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, thrives in a team, and takes pride in maintaining an organised and efficient warehouse environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Picking and packing customer and engineer parts, as well as larger equipment.
- Labelling items and organising stock locations.
- Receiving goods into the warehouse.
- Keeping the warehouse tidy, safe, and compliant with company procedures.
- Completing stock counts and cycle checks.
- Assisting with spare parts kits and engineer stock audits.
- Monitoring the shared stock inbox for updates and queries.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.
- A forklift licence is ideal – but we’ll also consider applicants happy to be trained.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
- Strong team player who’s flexible and reliable.
- Comfortable using IT systems, with basic Excel knowledge as a bonus.
