Are you someone with retail or stock experience looking to take a step up and take ownership of their role?
Are you over 25 and a driver with less than 6 points on your licence?
I am pleased to be working with a quality driven company based in Uxbridge. They distribute a premium product throughout the UK /worldwide so they are busy and require an additional person at their brand-new local site.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark and take pride in your work. It will involve a great deal of picking and packing orders (will carry up to 15kg) Products must be handled with care.
It’s a small site which means sometimes you will be working on your own- so you must be responsible and self-driven.
Monday to Friday 9-6pm, 28 days holiday plus birthday off, private healthcare and pension.
Please note that with someone with the right attitude the company will fully mentor and train and eventually get you trained on a Forklift.

Duties
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
• Wrapping and preparing items for shipment, ensuring they are packaged securely and correctly.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles
• Ensure that the products are handled with care
• Counting, recording and restocking shelves, as well as tracking and documenting stock arrivals
• Monitoring product/packaging quality
• Preparing customer orders for delivery, including scanning and using handheld devices
• Keeping the warehouse tidy, clean and ensuring proper stock rotation
• Ensuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions
• Identify damages and report spillages or quality deficiencies
• Some ad hoc driving will be required, only to cover the driver if off sick or on annual leave

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
• Valid UK driving licence (less than 6 points)
• Basic computer skills
• Willing to work hard and learn
• Experience of picking and packing orders (preferable)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
