Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk Temporary Contract
Location: Maidenhead
Salary: Up to £40,000 pro rata (depending on experience)
Contract: Temporary 3 Months
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm (35 hours per week)
Are you a highly organised finance professional with a passion for accuracy, reconciliation, and process improvement? We re supporting a long-established local business in their search for an experienced Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a 3-month temporary contract.

What you ll be doing:
• Managing and resolving supplier queries by phone and email
• Performing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
• Updating and maintaining supplier accounts across group companies
• Assisting with purchase order process improvements and systems updates
• Supporting cross-functional teams and mentoring junior colleagues where required
What we re looking for:
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills
• Proven background in a similar purchase ledger or finance role
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a busy finance environment
• Familiarity with Business Central (desirable but not essential)
• Proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills
• Flexible team player with a positive attitude
