Role Aim: To provide comprehensive sales support to the sales team, manage returns and replacements efficiently, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the support inbox, circulate and address enquiries received.
- Coordinate with your supervisor to arrange quick collections for returns and ensure timely credits or refunds.
- Resolve any issues with accounts and despatch.
- Provide cover for outbound post and samples.
- Follow up with new customers and manage customer reviews by tagging and replying to them.
- Provide departmental cover, including handling sales enquiries, order entry, live chat, and key accounts administration.
- Maintain interdepartmental spreadsheets and handle ad-hoc admin tasks as required.
- Send quotes to customers for both stock and made-to-order products.
- Take orders over the phone and via email.
- Enter orders and returns into the system.
- Liaise with production to get updates on ongoing jobs.
- General administrative duties as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a commercial business and familiarity with creating and sending quotes is beneficial.
- Strong team player, capable of working within a diverse sales department.
- Customer service or sales office experience is essential.
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise and multitask.
- Excellent communication skills and a logical thinker.
- Experience with Excel is needed, and knowledge of Google Sheets is advantageous.
- Quick learner and problem solver.
