Overview

Payroll Assistant – Office based / Permanent Opportunity Location: Ruislip Salary: Up to 30k.

We are looking for a Payroll Assistant based in Ruislip. The role involves processing timesheets for around 1500 employees three times a week and requires strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review incoming timesheets paying particular attention to dates, timesheet approvers and hours.
  • Input data onto the timesheet system.
  • Process holiday requests.
  • Ensure correct tax codes are applied.
  • Run the full payroll cycle along with other payroll assistants and perform BACs transmissions.
  • Process Deductions of Earnings (DOE’s) and other statutory payments as required.

Qualifications

  • Weekly payroll experience will be an advantage, however it is not essential.
  • Excellent numeracy skills (GCSE grade C minimum).
  • Working towards / willing to work towards CIPP courses.
  • Ability to deal with multiple tasks/queries.
  • Intermediate Excel experience.
  • A logical approach and excellent attention to detail.
