An established and fast-paced organisation seeks an experienced Payroll Assistant to join its busy payroll team based in Ruislip. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional with strong attention to detail and previous experience processing high-volume payrolls.
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly payrolls including PAYE, Umbrella and LTD payrolls
- Input and review weekly timesheets, overtime and holiday submissions
- Manage employee records, including starters, leavers and payroll amendments
- Respond to payroll-related queries via telephone and email
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation
- Prepare payroll reports for finance and management teams
- Support the wider payroll team with day-to-day operations
- Ensure payroll deadlines are consistently achieved
- Maintain compliance with payroll legislation and company procedures
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ payroll experience
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Highly organised with strong administrative skills
- Professional and proactive approach to work
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience with payroll systems such as RSM In-time is advantageous
