Compliance Manager ( marketing campaigns)

Marketing Compliance Manager
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Location: North West London
Working Pattern: Hybrid working

Use your agency experience to build a career in marketing compliance

Are you currently working within a marketing, advertising or creative agency and considering a move away from traditional account management or campaign delivery?

Our client is looking for someone with strong agency experience who would like to develop specialist knowledge within marketing and promotional compliance.

You do not need to be an experienced compliance professional. This opportunity is particularly suited to someone who understands how campaigns are planned and delivered, is comfortable working with clients and enjoys spotting the finer details that can make the difference between a smooth campaign and a problematic one.

Why Apply?

  • Take your existing agency experience in a new specialist direction
  • Develop valuable knowledge of marketing and promotional regulation
  • Work closely with experienced colleagues while building your expertise
  • Benefit from hybrid working and a strong overall benefits package
  • Join a permanent role offering long-term professional development

The Role:

You will help review and support the delivery of marketing and promotional activity, ensuring campaigns are practical, accurate and aligned with relevant requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing campaign briefs and identifying potential compliance or delivery issues
  • Working with clients and internal teams to understand campaign objectives and requirements
  • Supporting the preparation and review of promotional terms and conditions
  • Researching relevant advertising, consumer and promotional regulations
  • Helping ensure promotional activity is structured and delivered appropriately
  • Highlighting inconsistencies or potential risks and suggesting practical solutions
  • Responding to client queries relating to campaign processes and promotional requirements
  • Maintaining clear records and contributing to internal guidance and best practice

The ideal Marketing Compliance Manager will have:

  • Previous experience within a marketing, advertising, promotional or creative agency environment
  • Experience in account management, client services, campaign delivery or a closely related role
  • A good understanding of how marketing campaigns and promotions are coordinated
  • Confidence managing client relationships and interpreting briefs
  • Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail
  • The confidence to question information, identify potential issues and recommend practical solutions
  • A commercially aware, analytical and inquisitive approach
  • A genuine interest in developing specialist knowledge of marketing and promotional compliance

Experience supporting consumer promotions, competitions, incentives or similar campaign activity would be advantageous, but previous compliance experience is not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for an agency professional who enjoys the detail behind successful campaigns but is ready to develop their career in a more specialist direction.
