Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday An established engineering and manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Buyer to join its Operations team in Slough.

Reporting to the Senior Buyer, you will source and purchase materials and components needed for production.

You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate commercial terms and ensure materials are available at the right time, cost and quality.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Buyer with experience in engineering, manufacturing or electronics who wants to join a successful business offering hybrid working, career development and a strong benefits package.

Key responsibilities Purchase components, raw materials and production supplies in line with operational requirements.

Manage purchase orders from placement through to delivery, resolving shortages and delays.

Source, assess and develop UK and international suppliers.

Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms and supply agreements.

Monitor supplier performance across cost, quality and delivery.

Work closely with production, quality, logistics and finance teams.

Review stock levels and place orders to prevent shortages and excess inventory.
