Production Operative / Tube Cutter Type: Permanent Salary: £14.00 per hour Location: Hayes area Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am–4.00pm and Friday 7.30am–3.00pm We are recruiting for our client, an established specialist manufacturing business, who is looking for a practical and reliable Tube Cutting Production Operative to join their busy engineering team. This is a varied, hands-on position involving the preparation, cutting and machining of metal materials to customer requirements, alongside general stock, quality and dispatch duties. It would suit someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in accuracy and is comfortable working with machinery in a manufacturing environment. The Role: Cutting and preparing metal tube and related materials to specified requirements Using workshop equipment including saws, lathes and other machinery Carrying out basic machining, finishing and de-burring work Checking materials for condition, quantity and accuracy before processing Recording materials used and updating stock information Assisting with goods in, stock checks and the movement of materials Supporting other production areas when required Preparing delivery paperwork and ensuring relevant documentation is available for outgoing orders Organising workload to help ensure customer orders are completed to agree...
