You do not need to have built your career in HR already - what matters is that you have previous administrative experience, excellent attention to detail and a genuine enthusiasm for developing a long-term career within Human Resources.

You will receive excellent training, support and hands-on experience, giving you the chance to build practical knowledge across a wide range of HR activities. From recruitment and onboarding through to employee records, payroll information and HR documentation, this is an opportunity to develop a strong generalist HR foundation from the outset.

What will you be doing?

This is a varied role where no two days are likely to feel exactly the same. You will support the smooth running of day-to-day HR administration while gradually building your knowledge and confidence across the wider employee lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting recruitment activity, including reviewing CVs and coordinating interviews
  • Helping with new starter onboarding and employee induction processes
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and updating the HR system
  • Preparing contracts and other HR documentation for review
  • Supporting right-to-work and employee record administration
  • Coordinating leaver processes and assisting with exit administration
  • Providing accurate employee information for payroll processing
  • Responding to routine employee queries in a professional and helpful manner
  • Supporting the HR team with day-to-day administration and wider projects
  • Handling confidential employee information with care and discretion
  • Helping improve HR processes and administration as your experience develops
