You'll work closely with experienced team, supporting a portfolio of business customers and gradually develop a strong understanding of the complete commercial process - from quotations and pricing through to orders, projects, purchasing, deliveries and customer account support.
For the right person, it's an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career within a commercial environment.
What will you be doing?
You'll become an important point of contact for customers and provide day-to-day support to the sales and account management team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building strong relationships with business customers and responding to their enquiries.
- Preparing quotations and pricing information.
- Managing customer orders from initial enquiry through to successful delivery.
- Helping with tenders, pricing exercises and customer proposals.
- Keeping customers informed and making sure they receive an excellent level of service.
- Coordinating with suppliers and internal departments to ensure orders run smoothly.
- Producing customer reports and analysing information using Excel.
- Maintaining accurate customer and CRM information.
- Investigating queries and finding solutions when things don't go according to plan.
- Learning about products, customers and the wider commercial operation.
