Lecturer – Functional Skills (Maths, English & ICT)
Location: Hayes, Greater London. Salary: £33,429 – £46,618 per annum (pro-rata). Contract: Fixed term. Institution: Uxbridge College.
This role delivers Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT up to Level 2 to apprentices across various frameworks.
Responsibilities include ensuring learners receive effective support throughout the programme, contributing to progress reviews, and setting learners’ targets.
The role is based at Hayes Campus, with travel to other campuses as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified to a minimum of Level3, preferably degree level.
- Experience delivering Maths, English and ICT Functional Skills successfully.
- Ability to motivate and engage groups of apprentices aged16+.
- A teaching qualification recognised by the Further Education sector will be an advantage.
