36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Salary in the range of £33,429 - £46,618 per annum Based at Uxbridge Campus Teacher Training provided Our Sixth Form at Uxbridge College is responsible primarily for the delivery of A Level, AS, GCSE and BTEC Science courses and is based at the Uxbridge site. We have a track record of achieving strong results which places the Sixth Form amongst the top performing colleges nationally for A level progress. Historically, Sociology has been one of the best performing and most popular subjects within the Sixth Form. You would teach across Sociology programmes up to A Level. You will possess a degree in a relevant subject and have successful teaching experience in the subject area up to Level 3, including A Level. You will have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to engage young people aged 16-19. If you do not already possess a teaching qualification, the College will support you to obtain the Level 5 teaching qualification. We may be able to provide sponsorship for this role.
