Uxbridge Colleges Computing and IT School provides our learners with the knowledge and skills required by the computing industry. We provide an excellent foundation for our learners to progress to the next level including careers in the IT, apprenticeships and Higher Education.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Lecturer to be based at our Hayes Campus, to teach a range of Computing courses from Level 1 to Level 5.
You will possess a degree in a Computing subject and will have some teaching experience, including experience of delivering BTEC programmes Level 3 5, with the ability to engage 16-18 year old students.You will have knowledge and experience of two of the following:
- Cyber Security and Incident Management
- Cloud Storage and Collaboration Tools
- Networking and IT Service Delivery
You will also have knowledge and experience of at least two of the following:
- Database modelling
- Database implementation (e.g. MS Access)
- Project Management
If you do not already possess a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector, the College will support you to achieve this.
