We are seeking to appoint a full time Communication Support Worker to provide support for deaf and hard of hearing students. You will ensure that deaf and hard of hearing students are supported in class and are able to gain maximum access to the curriculum. You will promote awareness of the support services within the college and encourage awareness of the needs of deaf and hard of hearing learners with both staff and students.

You should be qualified to a minimum of British Sign Language Level 3, possess good signing skills and have experience of working with deaf and/or hard of hearing people, ideally in an educational environment. Good team working skills and a flexible approach to meeting the needs of all students are also required.
