English Lecturer

Lecturers: English GCSE and Functional Skills 1 full time post; 2 part time posts – Harrow-on-the-Hill Campus Salary in the range of £32,455 – £45,260 per annum Teacher training provided We are seeking to appoint a full time and two part time Lecturers to deliver GCSE and Functional Skills for English within our cross-College provision, primarily to vocational learners aged 16-18. This is a rewarding area of the College, and you would play a key role in supporting our vocational learners with their development and help them progress onto higher courses or the workplace. You will preferably possess a degree or equivalent in English or a related subject area (or a Level 3 qualification plus proven successful experience of teaching English/Literacy/ESOL/EFL for at least 2 years). You will have experience of teaching/tutoring GCSE, Functional Skills English, ESOL, EFL or literacy, and have the ability to engage and enthuse 16 to 18 year olds from a variety of vocational disciplines.
