Our Client is a leading organisation in the Early Education and Outside School Hours Care Sector. We are currently representing them in recruiting a Program Manager to join their brand new service in Townsville, delivering high-quality specialist Before and After School Care programs. The team structure at this service includes 2 Program Managers (1 specialising in inclusion support and the other in quality and compliance – being this position). The service also has 3 Assistant Program Managers and educators.
About the role:
- Lead a high-quality OSHC service that operates Before and After School Care.
- Work for a private provider that prides itself on offering innovative and engaging care environments at a high standard.
- Lead a consistent and stable team of Educators.
- Report directly to the Area Manager who will provide you with ongoing support and mentoring.
Here are the perks and finer details:
- 120 Approved Places and averaging the same.
- Full time position – 38 hours per week.
- Before School Hours 6:30am- 9am.
- After School Hours 2pm – 6pm.
- Work as part of the leadership team, made up of two service program managers.
- $80,000 – $85,000 ($40.48 – $43.01) + super + allowances.
- Brand new service commencing in March with a strong, experienced and qualified team!
About the responsibilities:
- Support the development of your team.
- Lead the quality and compliance of the service.
- The role will provide ongoing training, mentoring, and support to Nominated Supervisors.
- Be responsible for stakeholder management across the service.
About you:
- Experience working in Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) or Early Years education.
- Passionate about providing ongoing support and development.
- Great communication and organisational skills.
- Qualification in Early Childhood or children services.
- First aid, CPR, WWCC, Identify and Respond to Young People at Risk.
- Blue Card.
