Ambrose Construct Group are one of Australia\’s largest insurance repair specialists. With offices in every state of Australia. We are seeking an experienced Estimator/Supervisor to join our rapidly expanding team in Townsville.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

  • Insurance Building Estimator/Supervisor
  • Report directly to the Construction Manager
  • Estimate, Schedule and Supervise trades and repairs
  • Exceed KPIs by learning how to estimate and Supervise insurance repairs using our industry leading technology
  • Deliver an exceptionally high level of customer service, through effective written / oral communication with an innate ability to build relationships and resolve conflict
  • Receive a market competitive salary, vehicle, fuel card, tablet, phone, uniform and industry-based equipment
  • Insurance industry experience and knowledge of Water Claim Management is advantageous but not essential

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Trade qualified (preferably carpentry)
  • A current QBCC Supervisor Licence
  • A current White Card
  • Previous experience in Estimating, Scheduling and Supervising trades and repairs (insurance related is preferred)
  • A working knowledge of the National Construction Code, Building Regulations and Workplace Health and Safety requirements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Competent computer skills across mobile devices, repair management systems and Microsoft Office suite of programs and an ability to rapidly learn new systems
  • An aptitude for creating, reading and interpreting scopes of work
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure the highest quality of repair
  • A proactive nature and be keen to work as a member of a highly successful, KPI driven team
  • A strong commitment to safety
