About this role
UWE Bristol is seeking a forward-thinking Team Leader to join our Student and Programme Support (SPS) team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of administrative services to our students and staff within our Schools.
As Team Leader, you will guide a passionate team in delivering high-quality, student-focused administrative support. You will work collaboratively across academic and professional service teams, helping to enhance the student journey and contribute to transformational projects aligned with our ambitious Strategy 2030.
This role offers significant opportunities to lead and influence work that will have a meaningful and lasting impact on the student experience.
This role sits within Student Administration—a friendly, lively, and knowledgeable team that is deeply committed to supporting students and staff. You will be joining a group of SPS Team Leaders who work closely together to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach across all Schools.
About you
You are an experienced and proactive manager who thrives on complexity and change. You know how to bring people together, coach teams through challenges, and improve service delivery. You will have:
- Proven leadership experience in a service delivery environment
- A collaborative and people first approach to change
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Experience of using systems, and data, and how to use insights to inform decision making and continuous improvement
- Confidence tackling problems and implementing solutions in a fast paced, service led environment

This is a full-time, permanent post working 37 hours per week.
