Sports Club Development Coordinator
Our Opportunities Team supports students with all of the sports clubs and societies available to UWE Bristol Students during their time at university.
We have 45 different sports clubs and over 50 competitive teams for students to join and engage with during their time at UWE Bristol.
This position reports to the Club Development Manager and is supported by the Opportunities Manager.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the BUCS leagues and knockout programme.
- Develop sports club offering and processes.
- Design and deliver high‑quality committee training for all sports clubs.
- Analyse membership numbers, engagement levels and produce reports with graphs, charts and comparisons.
- Support the VP Sports & Health with the manifesto, sports conferences and the annual Sports awards.
- Provide general administration and engagement duties.
- Support organisational initiatives such as Elections, Welcome & Freshers fairs, Speak Week, Sports Awards and Societies Awards.
Qualifications
A proactive, engaging and approachable individual with a strong administrative skill set and the ability to deliver high quality in‑person training. Willingness to undergo training to deliver workshops such as Mental Health in Sport and Alcohol Awareness.
