Summary

The School of Applied Sciences at UWE Bristol is one of the largest education centres for Healthcare Science in the UK. Cardiac Physiology is one of three specialisms delivered as part of the Physiological Sciences programme, together with Respiratory and Sleep Physiology and Neurophysiology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead lecture modules and contribute to teaching, learning and assessment in cardiac physiology.
  • Supervise final year research projects.
  • Contribute to module and programme development.

Qualifications

  • PhD in a relevant subject or a relevant master’s qualification with significant professional practice.
  • Significant clinical experience in Cardiac Physiology.
  • PG Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (unless already obtained).
