Accommodation Services provide a home to over 5600 students living within our portfolio and in nominated properties. This role will help deliver a high quality service within a customer-focused environment which operates 24/7/365. Our dedicated team of staff provide support and signposting on a wide variety of emotional and practical issues, from issues living with others, behaviour management, homesickness, general wellbeing, engagement with meaningful social activity and connecting students to the services offered by the wider University. In all our activities, we are driven by a culture of continuous improvement, implementing enhancements to our service delivery to enable an exceptional staff and student experience.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to provide administrative and clerical service with specific functions within residential lettings, including the allocation and operation of University managed Accommodation, giving advice on financial and contractual matters.

Role details
This is a full time role post of 37 hours, fixed for one year (or earlier return of post holder). Postholder is required to be available to work of standard office hours with a minimum of one evening during the week until 19:00. Some weekend and evening work will be required during the main allocation period and student arrival times, including Clearing, Welcome Weekend and Marketing Events (Open Days and Applicant days). Prior notice will be given.
Location & Availability
This post is predominantly based at Frenchay, however travel to other campuses and nominated accommodation buildings will be necessary. This role is campus based for all of your time. Interviews are scheduled to take place week commencing 23rd February 2026 at our Frenchay Campus. The postholder is required to be available to work out of standard office hours, including one evening during the week until 19:00. Weekend working will be required in respect of the main departure and arrival times (Welcome Weekend), Summer turnaround and various marketing events (Open Days and Applicant days).
