About the area
The ACG is a multi-disciplinary joint venture and UWA Research Centre which provides professional education training and research services to the mining sector, in the disciplines of underground, open pit and environmental mining geomechanics. The overall aim of the Centre is to improve mine safety and productivity.
mXrap is a geotechnical data analysis platform developed within the ACG. It has been successfully deployed on over 80 mine sites around the world.
About the opportunity
- Provide advanced first-line support for mXrap users by identifying common issues, documenting known problems, and recommending preventative measures.
- Develop and deliver training programs for new users to ensure effective onboarding and usage of the mXrap platform.
- Assist with consortium administration, including onboarding new members, managing billing, and coordinating licence agreements.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency
- Highly developed written, verbal and organisational skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience working with a range of contemporary computing platforms, applications and systems
- Experience in developing and delivering training materials.
- Knowledge of or experience working in the mining industry, or in a technical/software support capacity is beneficial
Note
The successful applicant may occasionally be required to work on weekends and outside standard business hours, depending on operational needs.
