About the area
College Services delivers high-quality academic administration and technical support to UWA’s Schools, enabling teaching, research, and student success. Within this, the Schools Operations team provides vital operational and administrative support. The Department of Nursing & Midwifery is establishing innovative programs, and this role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth departmental operations and the effective coordination of student placements.
About the opportunity
- Coordinate and administer professional experience placements, liaising with students, academic staff, and external healthcare providers.
- Provide high-level administrative and executive support to the Department, including stakeholder engagement and accreditation activities.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of systems, processes, and procedures supporting placements and departmental operations.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience, with substantial administrative experience in a complex environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage competing deadlines, and work with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, use initiative, and contribute effectively within a team.
- Proficiency in digital systems and applications; experience with student placement systems such as SONIA is desirable.
