Be part of a collaborative, service‑focused team within College Services. Support a broad range of administrative and operational functions within a University School, including teaching, research and community engagement activities. Part-time (0.4 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis until May 2027. Base salary range: $83,212 – $92,231 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

College Services provides high-quality academic administration and technical support to the University’s Schools. The Schools Operations team works in close partnership with Heads of School, academic staff and research students to deliver consistent, customer-focused services that support teaching, research and engagement activities. The team is committed to continuous improvement, collaboration and best practice in academic administration.
About the opportunity
- Provide a wide range of administrative and operational support to a School, supporting both teaching and research priorities.
- Work collaboratively across Schools Operations and with other professional and academic teams to deliver high-quality services.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing processes, suggesting efficiencies and implementing best‑practice workflows.
About you
- You have substantial relevant administrative experience, ideally within a complex, service-oriented environment.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can respond to complex enquiries with judgement and initiative.
- You are highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- You are confident using a range of computer systems and applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases and online platforms.
- You are a proactive team member with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
