Provide counselling and case management support for students in a residential setting. Develop and deliver co-curricular programs that support student mental health and wellbeing. Full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis for 2 Years (with a possibility of extension).

About the opportunity: You will play a key role in fostering a safe, energetic and harmonious living and learning environment for residents. Plan, develop and implement resident well-being initiatives, support accessibility pathways, co-curricular programs and pastoral care to all residents from a diverse range of cultural, national, socio-economic and educational backgrounds.
About you: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent competency. Current registration/eligible for registration with an associated professional organisation such as Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) or Australian Counselling Association (ACA). Minimum of two years' experience in the provision of mental health support including suicide crisis and risk assessment and intervention. Experience in delivering training/workshops related to mental health and wellbeing.
Special Requirements: Some after-hours work may be required. Current WA Working With Children Check. National Police Clearance Certificate will be conducted.
