About the opportunity: Management of project costs including tracking purchase orders, actual costs, accruals, journals, forecasting, variance analysis and cost reporting in line with UWA cost management processes and standards. Support the project manager in the coordination of project activities, meetings and workshops. Maintain project reporting artefacts including status reports, RAID logs, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders.
About you: Substantial experience, 4 years plus, in supporting projects, financial administration and reporting. Highly developed analytical skills with a proven record of preparing, analysing and reporting on budgets. Completion of a degree with at least four years of subsequent relevant work experience including high proficiency in using spreadsheets for finance reporting. Highly developed interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to consult, negotiate and liaise collaboratively and cooperatively with diverse groups of people. Highly developed organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines.
