The predicted salary is between 80000 - 84000 £ per year.

26 weeks paid parental leave after one year and 36 weeks after five years continuous service, regardless of gender. 4 weeks annual leave with the option to purchase more. 13 weeks long service leave after seven/ten years. Provide expert guidance and drive strong compliance culture across BMR. Partner with key stakeholders to ensure consistent, risk-aware marketing practices. Full-time appointment on an ongoing basis (flexible options available). Base salary range: $134,288 – $142,099 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the area: The BMR division exists for the purpose of showcasing the best of UWA, ultimately enhancing reputation and driving student engagement and growth. The division consolidates all marketing, communications, engagement and event activity into one team, enabling strong connectivity and improved effectiveness. The newly shaped Marketing Strategy and Insights team within BMR is set up to shape and drive marketing strategies that support the key priorities of brand positioning, market competitiveness and student acquisition.

About the opportunity: Implement and maintain an effective marketing compliance management framework that ensures the University meets its obligations under the Australian Consumer Law, Privacy Act, Spam Act and relevant TEQSA requirements. Identify, assess and manage marketing-related compliance risks, ensuring early detection, transparency and appropriate escalation. Review and advise on marketing content and campaigns to ensure accuracy, transparency and compliance with regulatory and policy standards. Partner with Legal, RISC, Information Governance and Academic compliance teams and BMR leaders to ensure coordinated and effective marketing compliance management across the University. Develop, maintain and review robust marketing compliance processes and controls designed to identify, manage and mitigate marketing compliance risk. Lead the development of compliance training and awareness programs to uplift capability and embed risk-aware decision-making across BMR.

About you: Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, governance, business administration, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in marketing compliance management, ideally within the Australian higher education sector or a similar regulated environment. Strong capability in interpreting and applying legislation and regulatory frameworks. A solid understanding of marketing operations and the associated compliance risks. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence, educate and support teams to embed compliant and effective practices.
