The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

26 weeks paid parental leave after one year and 36 weeks after five years continuous service, regardless of gender.

4 weeks annual leave with the option to purchase more.

13 weeks long service leave after seven/ten years.

About the opportunity:

Casual academic employees are integral to the teaching and support activities of The University of Western Australia. Our casuals are engaged in various casual activities, including lecturing, tutoring, marking, and lab demonstrations.

The position offered is negotiated between the casual academic employee and their supervisors and will be determined by the duties specified in their casual contract.

Essential criteria:

  • Formal tertiary qualification(s)
  • Relevant academic experience in the discipline area
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Your CV and cover letter should demonstrate how you meet the selection criteria. Records will be retained on our academic casual register for 12 months. Should an opportunity arise matching your skills and experience, you will be contacted by the relevant work area.
