What will your day-to-day life be like?
As part of the Business Development Team, you will be part of an exciting and growing company and will meaningfully contribute to UVE’s growth in the UK Market. Your role will combine strategic business development with a strong focus on prospecting, proposal management, and sales operations. The role will offer many growth opportunities for successful candidates.
Business Development & Sales Support
- Lead and manage business development initiatives defined by UVE’s Commercial Director, from prospecting and pitching to proposal creation and client relationship management.
- Build strong, consultative relationships with key stakeholders in the CPG and Food & Beverage sectors.
- Prepare compelling proposals and presentations that clearly communicate UVE’s value proposition.
- Keep opportunities on track through CRM management, pipeline reporting, and cross-team coordination.
- Represent UVE at industry trade shows and events across the UK, helping grow awareness and generate leads.
- Partner with the marketing team to boost UVE’s visibility through local campaigns, content, and events.
Market Knowledge
- Stay ahead of UK CPG and distribution trends, identifying emerging needs, market gaps, and growth opportunities.
- Translate market insights into actionable recommendations and tailored client proposals.
- Contribute to ROI analyses and business cases that support data-driven decision-making.
Teamwork & Collaboration
- Work closely with international colleagues to ensure consistent sales methodologies and communication standards.
- Participate in team meetings and internal workshops, to learn and to contribute insights from market and client interactions.
Our ideal candidate profile
- 3–5 years of experience in business or management consulting, ideally within the CPG industry and GTM/RTM, or software sales targeting CPG clients.
- Experience with SaaS or other technology-based solutions will be considered a strong plus.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple proposals and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
- Detail-oriented, structured, and proactive — able to bridge commercial strategy with operational execution.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (up to 20–30%) for client visits, trade shows, or team meetings.
