Location: Remote with travel to South of England as required e.g. once per week.
Context: The client is progressing Phase 1 of a digital technology rollout to transform supply chain operations and establish more consistent ways of working across markets. The Change Manager will drive adoption, support business readiness, and help embed new behaviours across the organisation. This role is well-suited to someone who is warm, pragmatic, and hands-on—comfortable rolling up their sleeves to engage stakeholders, build relationships, and deliver people-led change that sticks. Someone who can also operate at the strategic level and shape an enterprise-wide change plan—joining up dependencies and working closely with the Transformation Director.
Key responsibilities
- Change Management & Communications: Co-create, develop and execute the communications plan to support the rollout. Clearly articulate and explain the benefits of the programme to global markets. Create and coordinate collateral, messaging, and briefing materials.
- Business Readiness & Adoption: Conduct change impact assessments to identify challenges and support needs. Drive adoption across markets, advocating for consistent forecasting, ordering, and product management practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management: Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across markets. Act as a connector between programme teams and business users, ensuring two-way communication. Work with change champions/advocates to reinforce behaviours and sustain adoption.
- Enterprise level change planning: Joining up interdependencies, targeting the right support where it matters most, and creating a coherent, organisation-wide approach to people-led change - to manage risk and ensure change makes sense to employees.
Requirements
- Retail, Operational or Supply Chain experience.
- Proven ability to deliver change programmes in complex environments.
- Strong communications skills—able to craft clear, engaging messages for different audiences.
- Experience in stakeholder management and relationship building.
- Knowledge of business readiness and adoption practices (including training and go-live support).
- Comfortable working in a pragmatic, flexible, sleeves-rolled-up way.
- Familiarity with tools such as forecasting/planning systems would be beneficial but not essential.
