To manage projects within The Corporate Programme which make a vital contribution to the Council’s strategic aims. The role will be responsible for driving and overseeing the delivery of projects to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and projects are planned and delivered within the agreed parameters.

Influencing and working with senior stakeholders, the postholder will ensure project outputs are delivered that enable the expected benefits to be realised.

The Project Manager will be key to ensuring a robust project infrastructure is in place, underpinned by governance and aligned with corporate project and programme practice and will support the development of learning and skills for the organisation.
