We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Sheltered Housing Officer to join our friendly, dedicated, and busy team. If you’re enthusiastic, compassionate, and ready to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.

In this rewarding role, you’ll be at the heart of our Sheltered Housing Service, working closely with tenants to understand their individual needs and develop personalised support plans. You’ll build strong relationships, liaise with partner agencies, and play a key role in helping residents remain safe, independent, and well supported within their community.

Your responsibilities will also include maintaining accurate records and carrying out regular scheme and flat inspections to ensure a safe and well-managed living environment. We’re looking for someone who is committed to delivering a high-quality, tenant-focused service.

You’ll bring proven experience of working with customers, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required, as the role is based across our sheltered housing schemes throughout the district. This post qualifies as an essential user and is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
