An opportunity has arisen to join our Environmental Services Team as a Support Officer. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our daily operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing customer enquiries and complaints
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Processing invoices
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Assisting with the preparation of performance reports

We are looking for someone with experience in a busy, customer‑facing administrative role. Knowledge or understanding of Local Authority services would be an advantage, although full training will be provided for the right person.

You will be enthusiastic, self‑motivated, and able to manage your own workload within tight deadlines. Strong organisational skills, effective time management, and excellent attention to detail are essential. You will also need confident communication skills at all levels and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Whilst the role will allow primarily office based, there is flexibility around home working and working hours. This may vary from time to time to meet the needs of the service.
