Attendance Support Co-ordinator
We are seeking a dedicated Attendance Support Co-ordinator to join our pastoral team and play a key role in ensuring students are safe, supported, and present in school.
Post: Attendance Support Co-ordinator
Location: Fulford School
Salary: Grade 5
Actual Annual Salary: £8,602 – Based on work 2 days per week, term time only. Your working days will be Thursday and Friday – 14 hours per week

As Attendance Support Co-ordinator, you will:
- Work closely with the Attendance Intervention Lead and pastoral staff to monitor and improve student attendance.
- Maintain accurate attendance records using Arbour.
- Liaise with parents, carers, and staff to follow up on absences and provide tailored advice.
- Respond to alerts for pupils missing from lessons to ensure safeguarding.
- Manage the PSU reception area, acting as the first point of contact for parents and pupils.
- Provide general administrative support and assist with pupil welfare and first aid.
We\’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong administrative and IT skills
- Communicates effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Is proactive, organised, and able to prioritise tasks in a busy school environment.
- Has experience working in a school or similar setting (desirable).
- Understands safeguarding and SEN issues.
- Is committed to continuous professional development.
