We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Outbound Sales Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will proactively reach out to potential clients, introduce our products and services, and build relationships that drive sales growth.

They serve sectors like precision engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, and power generation. UTS offers a broad range of products, including industrial tools, consumables, precision cutting tools, PPE, and abrasives from top manufacturers.
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Proactive Telesales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Proactively initiating outbound calls to potential customers using provided leads, call lists, and CRM data to drive new business opportunities.
- Acting as a key point of contact for customers by handling inbound enquiries via phone and email, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
- Generating accurate and timely customer quotations, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure competitive and profitable pricing.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with a portfolio of existing and lapsed customers to increase sales, identify new opportunities, and grow share of wallet.
- Developing trust and rapport with prospects and customers through effective communication, active listening, and a customer-first approach.
- Identifying customer needs, understanding challenges or pain points, and recommending suitable product or service solutions aligned with their business goals.
- Presenting product or service features and benefits in a compelling manner, addressing objections and positioning value effectively to support conversion.
- Using persuasive selling techniques to guide prospects through the sales cycle and close deals, whether through outbound prospecting or inbound engagement.
- Consistently meeting or exceeding individual and team sales targets and KPIs, contributing to overall business growth.
- Accurately maintaining and updating customer records, quotations, and sales activities within the CRM system.
Experience
- Proven experience as a telesales representative or similar sales role, preferably in a proactive outbound calling environment.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to engage customers and build rapport over the phone.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Outstanding listening and problem-solving skills to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Resilience and the ability to handle objections and rejection in a professional manner.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools for lead management and tracking.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Adaptability and openness to learning about new products, industries, and sales techniques.
- Educated to GCSE level and further education with previous knowledge and background in sales preferable.
