Utranazz, the UK’s leading supplier of concrete equipment, is seeking a Senior HGV and/or Heavy Plant Engineer-Fitter to lead on complex diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of our specialist concrete machinery. This is a hands‑on, senior‑level role suited to an experienced engineer looking to apply their skills in a niche, highly technical environment.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will work on a diverse fleet of equipment including concrete mixers, pumps, batching plants, silos, and volumetric mixers - both in our Bicester workshop and at customer sites across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead on advanced diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of concrete equipment with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Oversee and support less experienced engineers when required.
- Conduct equipment inspections, testing, and final commissioning before dispatch or after repair.
- Represent Utranazz professionally on customer sites, offering technical advice and on‑the‑spot fault resolution.
- Assist with continuous improvement of workshop practices and service quality.
- Extensive hands‑on experience as a senior‑level HGV or heavy plant engineer/fitter, ideally within the concrete equipment or construction machinery industry.
- High‑level expertise across mechanics, hydraulics, 12/24V & 3‑Phase electrics, electronics and diagnostics (CANbus, PLC systems etc.).
- Proven ability to work independently in both workshop and field environments being a direct representative of Utranazz with our customer.
- Strong communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
- Full UK driving licence required.
