We are delighted to be working in partnership with our client based in Glasgow who are looking to recruit a Paralegal on a full time, permanent basis. Working within the professional services sector, you will add value and support to the wider Private Client Department. The department provides a wide range of services including wills, trusts, tax and estate planning, executries, POA’s and other related succession planning.
Role Responsibilities:
- Administer executry estates and trusts
- Drafting confirmation & IHT forms, executry accounts and general financial administration to include POA and guardianship administration
- Preparing correspondence and legal documents from digital dictation
- Being a point of contact and answering any calls, taking messages and supporting visitors to the office
- Maintain diaries and arrange appointments
- Manage all filing, both hard and soft copies
- Open and closure of client files and sending documents for storage
- Assist with anti-money laundering checks
To be considered for this opportunity, our client does require the following experience/background:
- Previous experience within a similar role whether this be within an administrative or legal secretarial role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with audio and copy typing
- Background using track changes and mail merge
- Confidence dealing with clients and colleagues of all levels
- Strong technical capability
- Committed to providing a first-class service at all times
- Natural positive and proactive attitude
