Utopian Professional Recruitment are delighted to be appointed to work in partnership with an incredible new client who are looking to recruit a dedicated and dynamic Data & Compliance Advisor to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Within this role you will be responsible for the setting up and development of a new centralised Client & Matter function whilst working closely with departments across the business including AML, Data, Legal and Tax colleagues.

This vacancy offers you the variety and opportunity to work with a broad range of clients and departments across the business whilst striving to ensure their client experience is personal and tailored to align with their business values.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • You will create, develop, build and shape a centralised client and matter inception function, producing procedures and practically implementing them across the business, starting initially with a small group of teams.
  • You will work closely with AML, Data, Legal and tax colleagues and will create new clients and matters on their Practice Management System whilst liaising directly with clients to obtain the required information ensuring an excellent client experience, and make sure clients feel looked after throughout the process.
  • This role will review existing client data and advise legal and tax colleagues of any missing information as well as provide client inception reporting to colleagues to facilitate an effective and efficient client onboarding experience.
  • You will have an opportunity to identify process and system improvements and assist with the implementation of these to enhance the Firm’s new client and matter inception process.

To be considered for this opportunity we are looking for the following background / experience:

  • Experience working within a data environment, ideally from the professional services sector.
  • Offer confidence and the ability to deal directly with clients and colleagues of all levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to instil confidence and clarity to clients and colleagues.
  • First class communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is essential within this role.
  • Strong IT and analytical skills.
  • Full training will be provided on the various systems used.
  • Highly organised with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Use your own initiative whilst part of a wider team.
  • A high level of discretion and confidentiality is a requirement of this role as you will be exposed to sensitive information.

Reward:

  • Hours of Work – Monday to Friday 9 -5pm (33.75hrs per week).
  • This role will initially be office based but our client does support hybrid working once fully trained.
  • Full Time, permanent contract.
  • Salary – Excellent and will be discussed at time of application.
  • Generous holiday allowance.
  • Pension.
  • In between Christmas and NY office closure.
