Utopian Professional Recruitment are delighted to be recently appointed to work in partnership with an incredible client who are looking to recruit an ambitious Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Within this role you will be supporting a wide range of organisations with their accounting.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Working with a varied range of SME clients
- Preparation of Limited company, LLP, partnership, and sole trader financial statements.
- Preparation of management accounts.
- Drafting of tax computations for review
- Maintaining up to date technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax
- Oral and written communication with client and HMRC.
- Liaising with colleagues to provide a coordinated service to the client.
- Maintaining client contact to deliver proactive service.
To be considered for this opportunity we are looking for the following background / experience:
- Experience in company and partnership accounts preparation
- Commitment to deliver first class service which exceeds our clients’ expectations
- Ability to work on own initiative and to deadlines
- Good technical knowledge and IT skills
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Can demonstrate a track record of success working within a team
- Adaptable and organised with a commercial approach
Reward:
- Hours of Work – Monday to Friday 9 -5pm
