We are delighted to be supporting an award winning Energy organisation recruit an Energy Compliance Analyst to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and ambitious individual to join a highly reputable organisation where you will be responsible for working closely with the Compliance Manager to deliver exceptional compliance services that ensure clients meet all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. This role is critical in safeguarding their clientsβ reputations, reducing risk, and promoting a culture of integrity and accountability.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Stay informed about changing regulations, including packaging compliance, Display Energy Certificates (DECs), Air Conditioning Inspection Certificates (ACICs), and the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS)
- Assist with Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) and carbon reporting for clients
- Help develop and implement compliance policies and procedures based on regulatory requirements
- Plan and monitor audits to ensure client compliance
- Maintain accurate records of audits, certificates, and compliance activities
- Client & Administrative Support
- Raise orders for energy assessors upon receipt of client purchase orders
- Process quotes, tenders, and client orders within internal systems
- Update and manage client data, including contact details and contract statuses
- Provide general office support: handling phone/email queries, creating invoices, and performing credit control
- Ensure accurate filing of certificates and correspondence
- Marketing & Business Development
- Research and verify prospect data for marketing campaigns
- Follow up with leads to promote compliance services and expand the client base
- Collaborate with the Marketing Lead to produce blogs, videos, and social media content that supports engagement and outreach
- Support commercial growth by understanding client needs and referring them to relevant in-house experts
To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, our client does require the following background / experience:
- We are looking for a candidate with a growth mindset who demonstrates ongoing commitment to the following areas:
- Background working within compliance and a strong understanding of the importance of this
- Previous background working within an office environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective listening, presentation, and research skills, particularly in interpreting regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); database management skills are a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and stay calm under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
- A collaborative attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive work ethic and commitment to ethical conduct
Reward:
- Monday to Friday 9-5pm (will be flexible around this)
- Hybrid working is available with 3 days being office based
- Full Time, permanent contract
