Utopian Professional Recruitment are delighted to be appointed to work in partnership with an incredible client who are looking to recruit a dedicated and highly organised Administrator to join their Charities Law Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive and purpose driven team, playing a key role in delivering administrative support to a busy and high-performing legal department.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- You will provide proactive administrative assistance and services to the Charity Law team and other colleagues and stakeholders within their Tax & Succession department working with charity clients
- As a Charities Administrator you will undertake day to day administration and management of charity administration
- You will be required to maintain and improve administration systems to assist with this
- The successful candidate will deal with all written/email and telephone enquiries from the public/others in relation to charities and to deal with any income receipts/ payouts and tracking of all daily and ongoing tasks
- The preparation of papers and documents for meetings will be part of the role and occasional attendance at meetings to take notes and to produce minutes may be required
- You will maintain strong client contact, and keep in contact with other key stakeholders as well as organise files, documents and email, saving documents and emails accurately to our Document Management system
- The Charities Administrator also undertakes the administration and process of the monthly Client Payroll cycle in conjunction with our payroll provider
To be considered for this opportunity we are looking for the following background / experience:
- Experience working within a similar role within the professional services sector – preferred
- We are looking for a professional individual who offers strong administrative skills with the ability to work proactively, directly and professionally with clients and colleagues of all levels
- Strong organisation and confident communication skills will be essential as is experience using Microsoft Office packages
- A high level of discretion and confidentiality is a requirement of this role as you will be exposed to sensitive information
Reward:
- Hours of Work – Monday to Friday 9-5pm (33.75hrs per week)
- This role will initially be office based but our client does support hybrid working once fully trained
- Full Time, permanent contract
- Salary – Excellent and will be discussed at time of application
- Generous holiday allowance
- Pension
- In between Christmas and NY office closure
