Hi! We're UW. We’re on a mission to take the headache out of utilities by providing them all in one place. One bill for energy, broadband, mobile and insurance and a whole lot of savings! We’re aiming to double in size as we help more people to stop wasting time and money. Big ambitions, to be delivered by people like you.
We put people first. It’s all about you.
For this role, we’re looking for a proactive problem solver with a "never-run-out" attitude and a "Just-in-Time" mindset for inventory. You should have previously worked in Office Manager/Service Coordinator type roles, and have experience of serviced office environments. You should be someone who believes that, once a problem is fixed, it should stay fixed through better processes. As a people person, you’ll be the face of our Farringdon Hub, ensuring the environment is an asset that actively "earns the commute" for every colleague.
Minimum requirements
- Proven experience in Office Manager or Service Coordinator roles, ideally within serviced office environments.
- A "Retail Eye" with an uncompromising attention to detail regarding cleanliness, lighting, and layout.
- Tech awareness, specifically with workplace management software (ticketing systems, desk booking apps).
- Maintenance literacy to troubleshoot basic office tech (AV/VC) and minor facilities issues.
- Safety qualifications as a First Aider and Fire Warden (or a willingness to be trained immediately).
- A Hospitality Mindset – experience in high-end retail, aviation, or premium hospitality is a big plus.
You’ll be the heartbeat of the Farringdon Hub, joining our Workplace and Property Division. This team interacts with every single person across the business, so you’ll enjoy a lot of diversity in your working day. You'll report into Facilities & People, working closely with our Facilities Manager and the Executive Leadership Team to maintain our flagship hub as a high-performance destination.
What you’ll do and how you will make an impact.
You’ll blend high-touch hospitality with operational grit to ensure our team has everything they need to do their best work. In this role, you will:
- Master the "Arrival Experience", providing a "Gold Standard" orientation for new joiners and acting as a "concierge" for visitors and investors.
- Curate Visual Excellence, maintaining a "Show Home" aesthetic across workstations and premium coffee stations.
- Drive Facilities & Compliance, leading H&S standards and acting as the "boots on the ground" for vendor management.
- Optimise Digital Service: Use our ticketing platform to triage queries with a "one-touch" resolution mindset, while building a robust digital knowledge base for self-service navigation.
- Champion Culture: Provide the logistical muscle for high-impact events and Town Halls, proactively gathering feedback to constantly evolve the Hub experience.
So why pick UW?
We’ve got big ambitions so there’s going to be plenty of challenges. There are also a lot of benefits:
- An industry benchmarked salary. We’ll share it during your first conversation.
- Annual discretionary performance based, annual bonus scheme.
- Hybrid working, with 2 days in the office. (We’re definitely open to discussing flexible working arrangements)
- Holiday trading
- Discount on our services and you get our coveted Cashback Card for free. You’ll also get access to 100s of rewards and discounts through Perkbox
- A matched contribution pension scheme and life assurance up to 4x your salary. You can also access free mortgage advice and a financial wellbeing tool.
- Save as You Earn scheme.
- Family-friendly policies, designed to help you and your family thrive.
- Flexible benefit choices such as Private health insurance, a free Virtual GP, Gym discounts and Our wellbeing app.
- Electric Car salary sacrifice scheme through Tusker
