We’re aiming to double in size as we help more people stop wasting time and money. Big ambitions, to be delivered by people like you. We put people first. It’s all about you.

As our new Telecoms Commercial Analyst, you’ll be the analytical heartbeat of our telecoms team. This role focuses on making our broadband and mobile services a commercial success—using data analysis to shape pricing, spot growth opportunities, and tackle day-to-day commercial challenges. You are curious, proactive, and ask why to drive growth. You have a hands-on, can-do attitude and excel at turning complex numbers into clear ideas that anyone can understand, thriving when working with a team to solve everyday commercial puzzles.

Responsibilities

  • Track performance: Monitor day-to-day performance of broadband and mobile services. Analyze data to identify trends, drivers of growth or risks, and deliver actionable insights for regular trading reviews.
  • Support big decisions: Collaborate with Marketing and Product to shape campaigns and customer offers. Pull data to validate ideas, model expected performance, and track real-world results.
  • Build pricing and packages: Model and develop new bundle ideas with Finance to ensure they are attractive to customers.
  • Watch the market: Monitor competitor pricing and deals to stay ahead.
  • Tackle projects: Help with new product launches, customer migrations, and daily operational challenges.

Onboarding (first 90 days)

  • Days 1–30 (Understand & Learn): Learn UW’s multi-service model, core telecoms metrics, databases, and conduct a competitor audit.
  • Days 31–60 (Collaborate & Support): Compile weekly trading reviews, measure marketing campaigns, and collaborate with Finance on pricing models.
  • Days 61–90 (Contribute & Own): Lead key project workstreams, present insights to stakeholders, and conduct a proactive data trend deep-dive.

Team

You’ll join the Commercial Telecoms team and work closely with the Telecoms Commercial Manager. You’ll partner across Marketing, Finance, Data and Product to turn raw numbers into smart, simple ideas that drive broadband and mobile success.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a commercial or analytical role, ideally in telecoms, utilities, or another subscription-based model.
  • A data-driven mindset: you enjoy diving into numbers to investigate performance and uncover commercial insights.
  • Strong Excel skills; knowledge of SQL and Looker is a plus, and willingness to learn AI tools to speed analysis.
  • Adaptable, hands-on attitude; able to handle complex data and quick operational tasks or ad hoc queries.
  • Great communication and collaboration skills; able to translate technical insights for non-technical stakeholders and work cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams.
