You will join the Technology & Product function within the Data family. This role acts as a strategic partner to core business units such as product, operations, commercial, and customer functions. You will sit at the intersection of data engineering and business strategy, working closely with both technical peers and non‑technical stakeholders to translate ambiguous problems into clear analytical frameworks.
What you’ll do:
- Design and develop robust, scalable data models that enable high‑quality analytics across UW.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction by translating data into strategic recommendations.
- Define and track key metrics to measure business performance and success.
- Design experiments to evaluate and support continuous business improvement.
- Influence the roadmap and drive measurable improvements in core business KPIs.
- Address technical debt and balance the trade‑off between shipping fast and building right.
Qualifications:
- Collaborative communicator with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Technical mentor who enjoys coaching others through design and code reviews to champion high analytical standards.
- SQL proficiency at an expert level, able to debug complex queries.
- Experience building sophisticated, reusable and scalable dimensional models.
- Proven track record of influencing technical guidelines and conducting rigorous code reviews.
- Strong knowledge of attribution modelling and cohort analysis.
- Experience in pipeline design and reliability engineering, including advanced observability.
- Significant experience in Marketing, CRM, or customer‑focused analytics.
