Reporting to a Financial Services Team Leader, the FS Customer Service Advisor is part of FS Operations and serves as the first point of contact for our customers' financial service needs. You’ll deliver excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers. You should be prepared to handle challenging and vulnerable customers. We will provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you learn and grow within the team.
As a member of our Financial Services Team, you’ll represent us to our customers, helping resolve their issues and providing advice and reassurance that their queries will be addressed.
This position involves delivering high-quality customer service primarily through phone interactions. You’ll engage professionally, multitask, and solve problems to make the customer journey seamless. We aim to exceed expectations by providing comprehensive support in one conversation, saving customers time and money.
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
- Address inquiries, resolve issues, and suggest solutions
- Handle complaints with empathy, aiming for first-call resolution
- Follow call centre guidelines for consistency and quality
- Use computer systems to access and update customer accounts accurately
- Collaborate with team members and managers to meet performance standards
- Stay informed on products, policies, and procedures
- Communicate effectively, actively listen, and problem-solve
- Adhere to attendance, punctuality, and schedule policies
