Job Description
Our client, a global leader in driving sustainability and energy transformation , is looking for a Senior Manager, Contracts and Corporate Governance to join their team. This is a critical role in supporting their legal, contracts and corporate governance functions. Reporting to the General Counsel, you’ll oversee contract negotiations, corporate record-keeping , risk management and process optimisation. Key responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including MSAs, NDAs, vendor agreements, leases, and settlement agreements
- Identify and mitigate legal and business risks, ensuring all internal approvals are secured
- Manage Delegation of Approval Authorities (DOAA) & oversee contract DocuSign execution
- Maintain contract database, track key contractual obligations, and manage renewals.
- Oversee corporate governance best practices, including maintaining document registries and corporate records
- Work closely with Business Development, Legal, Finance, and Regulatory teams to align processes and compliance
- Support regulatory filings related to energy and privacy matters
- Implement process improvements, automation, and best practices to enhance efficiency
Skills and Experience required:
- 7-10 years of experience in contract management, corporate governance, legal administration, or a related discipline
- Background in energy sector contracts is advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and outstanding communication
- Expertise in MS Office and contract lifecycle management systems (preferably IntelAgree)
- Entrepreneurial, resilient, adaptable, with passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Team player who thrives in collaborative environments but can also work independently
- Able to navigate and contribute effectively within a dynamic, multicultural organisation
- Experience working with diverse portfolio of clients, adapting to business needs and cultural perspectives
