The ideal candidate will have a proven history of securing new business opportunities, developing a strong sales pipeline and selling flexible gas and electricity procurement contracts along with additional energy products and solutions. Key responsibilities for the Business Development Manager:

  • Acquire accounts with energy consumption above approximately 25GWh to 100GWh’s
  • Build long-term relationships with customers
  • Oversee and coordinate complex tenders from enquiry to deal acceptance
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Research new business opportunities - new markets, growth areas, trends etc
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
