Key responsibilities of the Industrial Sales Manager
- Lead and scale a high-impact sales team focused on large energy users
- Drive new business growth and maximise sales margin
- Set clear KPIs, targets, and performance standards
- Coach and develop team members for success and progression
- Shape compelling propositions around energy transition and value-add services
- Work cross-functionally with pricing, trading, and solutions teams
- Use tools and dashboards to track sales performance
- Act as point of escalation and senior contact for key clients
- Deliver regular performance insights to senior leadership
Skills and Experience required for the Industrial Sales Manager
- Proven experience leading successful B2B energy sales teams
- Strong leadership in I&C energy sales or consultancy
- Proven track record with large clients or TPI channels
- Deep UK energy market and Net-Zero knowledge
- Skilled in pricing, negotiation, and deal structuring
- Data-driven and comfortable with CRM / sales tools
- Confident stakeholder manager and team motivator
- Strategic, proactive and commercially sharp
