Our client, a global leader in the zero-carbon transition, offers sustainability solutions to corporations, cities, and governments around the world. They are currently looking for a Procurement Manager to join their team. In this role, you will provide expert consulting services for energy procurement across Europe, including developing RFPs, conducting market analysis, evaluating pricing, offering product recommendations, creating budgets, and managing contracts for renewable energy products.
The ideal candidate will speak an Eastern European language, hold a degree in Mathematics, Economics, or Engineering, or have proven experience in energy procurement and be skilled in data analysis, reporting, and detail-oriented work. Confidence in client presentations is also essential.
Key responsibilities:- Deliver energy procurement consulting services, including RFPs, market assessment, risk and strategy development, contract negotiation and management.
- Manage renewable energy products, budgets, non-energy charges, and product recommendations.
- Oversee energy supply contracts, verify site lists and pricing, support internal teams, and maintain accurate client reporting and databases.
- Build and manage relationships within client organizations independently.
- Maintain and expand a strong network of energy suppliers and developers across Europe.
- Apply a confident, consultative approach to gain trust and influence within client organisations.
- At least 3 years’ experience in energy procurement (retail buying or selling). Utility billing knowledge a plus.
- Fluent in one or more Eastern European languages.
- Client-facing experience with direct customer or supplier interaction.
- Strong project management skills, able to balance client/supplier needs and meet tight deadlines.
- Skilled in creating and delivering presentations.
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Maths, Business, or Engineering.
